The RE/MAX website for Northern Illinois, www.illinoisproperty.com, was named the Best Real Estate Website in the Chicago area by suburban real estate agents in the 2006 agent poll conducted by Chicago Agent Magazine.  The publication is a professional trade journal.

The annual survey was distributed to 16,000 Realtors in the city and suburbs. Realtors could vote for their favorites in 11 categories.

"We are delighted to see that the agents who participated in the Chicago Agent poll recognize the benefit of such an interactive system," said Casey Reagan, chief technology officer for RE/MAX Northern Illinois.  "We work constantly to improve the site so that it remains responsive to the needs of the marketplace," he said.

RE/MAX Northern Illinois also was named Best Realty Company for Philanthropic Works.  It is also the official real estate sponsor of the Children's Miracle Network as well as the Breast Cancer Survivor Program.

RE/MAX offices have been number one in residential sales in the Chicago metropolitan area since 1989. In 2005, RE/MAX Northern Illinois had a closed sales volume of $17.46 billion.
